Another brand new week starting tomorrow, and remember to workout and eat healthy! Cheers!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Self-defense is not about kicking and punching per se, but rather using your smarts to escape a sticky situation. Agility in moves and quick thinking work together. In other words, you need to know what moves to take and how to take them and when you should be taking them. Of course, that extra bit of strength and the right technique helps increase your chances of running away and getting help.
So start today, and who knows you might just be thankful about your decision today. :)
*To be safe still, never walk around in dark or silent places on your own. Be sure to have someone accompanying you because it is more of a hassle for the offender if there are 2 or more than 1.
TIP 2: Be cautious and conscious about positioning & breathing! Do you know that the wrong positions and breathing during a workout could do you more harm and increase risks of injuries if you're not careful with the way you do it? Every part of the workout requires a specific degree of motion, therefore if you're new or never have before, consult a trainer before beginning. You do not want to get hurt and waste time recuperating from an injury and prolong the times to achieve your desired results! :)
TIP 1: Eat after working out!
Of course, our logic tells us to not eat or maybe just a biscuit or two after working out. But do you know that your muscles need to be fed with sufficient nutrition to maintain? So eat! Your body needs to recover after a workout session, and falling sick does not even make things any better because the time to recover from sickness can just mean your muscles wasting off again. Pick the right food, something with enough protein but less fat to help feed your needing muscles and your body, such as eggs and meat. Keep up the workout and proper nutrition, your lean-looking body will definitely be on the way! ;)
Weight management: Don't skip meals and go hungry! Hunger sends a shock signal and absorption in the presence of food is increased and stored as fats in case of hunger again. That is why weight is regained easily and causes an add-on even worst than your previous weight. So workout! By working out, you consistently use the excess and best of all, you stay healthy and fit! No more yo-yo weight! =D
