That is intentional to hurt someone.
And isn't this on GCE where the cyclist is on the motorcycle lane anyways. GCE allows this.
Cyclist Left Bleeding On Roadside After Hit-and-Run On Guthrie Highway | TRP Adding complexity to the case is the fact that cycling on highways is prohibited under Malaysian law, though this doesn't excuse the hit-and-run offence.

It's always been known that cycling on highway is wrong. But it doesnt give one right to attack the cyclists.

Share the roads. Ride safe.
A recent incident involving a bus and cyclists on a Malaysian road has sparked a public debate about road safety and driver behavior. A video of the incident, where a bus driver and cyclists had a confrontation, went viral, leading to discussions about the responsibilities of both cyclists and bus drivers. While some social media users sided with the bus driver, others criticized the driver's actions and highlighted the need for safer road conditions for cyclists.
A confrontation between a Rapid KL bus driver and a group of cyclists was recorded and shared online.
The video sparked public debate, with some supporting the bus driver and others criticizing his actions.
The company acknowledged the incident and stated that the bus captain had been counseled and reminded to adhere to safety protocols.
The incident highlighted the ongoing concerns about road safety for cyclists in Malaysia and the need for better communication and understanding between different road users.
Some have pointed out that cyclists should also be mindful of traffic regulations and avoid obstructing traffic.
In related news, the Road Transport Department (RTD) has been conducting undercover operations to monitor bus drivers and passengers for violations, including seat belt usage

RIP.
Condolences to the loved ones of Susanah Ng who passed away last week in an accident. Susanah was a lawyer, passionate about cycling and sports law. She assisted KBSMalaysia with the drafting of the proposed anti-doping bill. Susanah lived in Subang Jaya. I managed to spend some time with her grieving father and sister. Looking at her photos and conversations with her loved ones, I was convinced Susanah lived a full life, loving others and had time doing the sports she so loved. May God comfort her loved ones in the coming days as they mourn her sudden departure. Absent from the body, present with the Lord.

Check them out!
Hi everyone!
My sister and I are touring in Malaysia and we'd be happy to get some route recommendations. For now we're cycling to the East Coast from Simpang Pertang (through Teriang and then following the Pahang River). Then we'd like to follow the coast up north (any specific route suggestion?), maybe visiting an island, and then we'd like to go back to the west coast to go to Penang. We noticed 2 routes that could take us there from the east coast, either the one north of Kenyir Lake, going by Gua Musang, Lojing Highlands to Ipoh, or the one closer to the Thai border, from Machang through Gerik etc. Any recommendations on the route to take? Is one better than the other? For which reason? We know it's going to go uphill but it's okay if it's beautiful and there are not too many cars ๐
Any information is welcome, thanks in advance!
