Hinges are supposed to build glutes. For most women, they’re building lower back pain💔

The weight isn’t the problem. The pattern is.

Hinges train the glutes through their full stretch under load and stretch under load is what builds muscle. But only when the mechanics are right.

Foot position. How the rep starts. Where the ribs sit. How you control the way down. How you drive up.

If your lower back is sore but your glutes aren’t, it’s not a strength issue. It’s a movement pattern issue!
