Westports Malaysia was honoured to receive the inaugural official visit from the Chief Police Officer (CPO) of Selangor, YDH CP Dato’ Pahlawan Shazeli bin Dato’ Kahar. He was accompanied by the Heads of Departments from the Selangor Police Contingent as well as the Officers-in-Charge of Police Districts (OCPD).

The visit featured a constructive engagement focused on strengthening collaboration in security matters and enhancing overall operational preparedness. The session underscored the strong partnership and continued commitment between the Royal Malaysia Police and Westports in maintaining a safe, secure, and well-coordinated operating environment for all stakeholders.

The delegation was warmly received by Westports Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Vijaya Kumar, together with Dato’ K. Manoharan from the Westports Security Department.

Westports is pleased to commemorate the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Shell Liquid Bulk Terminal Expansion within the Westports terminal, marking another significant milestone in the longstanding partnership between Westports and Shell. The expansion reflects a shared commitment towards strengthening liquid bulk handling capabilities, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting future growth within the energy and logistics sector.

The groundbreaking ceremony was officiated by MB Selangor, YAB Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari. Also attended the ceremony Westports CEO, Mr Vijaya Kumar and Conventional Business GM, Mr Nanthakumar together with representatives from Shell and project partners. Westports looks forward to the successful completion of the development and the continued growth of this valued collaboration.

Around 50 aspiring candidates gathered at Dewan Tan Sri Gnanalingam for Westports’ Management Trainee Recruitment Day 2026. The programme served as an introduction to the dynamic career pathways within Westports, while allowing participants to demonstrate their abilities and aspirations.

The day was filled with meaningful interactions and positive energy, reflecting our ongoing efforts to attract and cultivate the next generation of talents to drive Westports forward.

Westports Holdings Berhad successfully held its 33rd Annual General Meeting (“33rd AGM”) on 14 May 2025 at Le Meridien, Kuala Lumpur. Executive Chairman, Datuk Ruben Emir Gnanalingam, chaired the meeting.

All resolutions, as set out in the Notice of the 33rd AGM, were duly approved by shareholders via electronic polling.

The Board of Directors, Management, and staff of Westports extend their sincere appreciation to all shareholders for their continued trust and unwavering support for the Company.

𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐚 𝐁𝐡𝐮𝐦

Westports Malaysia welcomed Varanya Bhum, a 12,000 TEUs vessel, on her maiden call on 7 May 2026.

This call reflects the continued enhancement of RCL’s Service : RWA2 - RCL CHINA WEST ASIA , linking key ports across China, Southeast Asia , India and Pakistan as well as supporting growing trade across the region.

The call was commemorated with a plaque exchange ceremony by Mr Naresh, Westports Marketing Manager alongside Mr Wong Davin , Regional Finance Head for Southeast Asia (SEA) , Mr Wilson, Commercial Manager , Mr K Gunalan , Operation Manager and Capt.Phattarawuth Somboon.

𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐢 𝐒𝐫𝐢 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐮, 𝐏𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐮 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐡.

Westports Malaysia in collaboration with MBDK, PKD Klang and other agencies, successfully organised a Dengue Prevention Program with the participation of 300 community members.

The programme began with a dengue awareness session, followed by a clean-up activity to eliminate Aedes breeding sites. Activities such as a colouring contest, fun games and a lucky draw were also held.

The event was graced by YB Azmizam Zaman Huri, ADUN Port Klang and Mr. Mohamad Shahrul Bin Adnan, Ahli Majlis N46C.
