The purpose of "Pressure Test" Open Sparring is to enhances adaptability and technique while fostering camaraderie and respect. Sparring with different martial artists builds friendships through shared challenges, encouraging collaboration and strengthening bonds within the martial arts community.

*⚔️ Open Weapon Sparring Formats. ⚔️*

1. *One Point System*

Each clean strike scores 1 point. After a successful hit, both participants reset before continuing.

2. *Three Beat/Sec Point System*

Each exchange is limited to a maximum of 3 strikes/beats before reset. Strikes may be alternating or one-sided. Based on the concept of offence → counter → re-counter.

3. *Free-Style Sparring*

Participants may use any training weapon with fewer restrictions, allowing continuous striking and freer movement. *Recommended for experienced participants only.

4. *Knife Sparring (Training/Form Knife)*

Focuses on pressure, timing, control, and reaction during knife engagement. Includes:
Knife vs Knife
Empty Hand vs Knife
*Proper safety equipment must be worn at all times to reduce risk of injury.

*Please Note:* Engaging in an open sparring event requires mutual consent from both parties. Participants must respect each other's boundaries and exercise caution during the match. Safety is our top priority, and all measures are taken to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Wang Bai-Zhao Southern Shaolin Hung Quan (王栢兆南少林洪拳).

The instructor is Shifu Cheok Ann-Hock(卓安福). He is also a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor.

The Puchong Training Center had the honour of welcoming Hapkido masters, Master Anthony Low and Master Yong Cha-Wang.

They came to pay a courtesy call on Sifu James Lee PK.

Master Anthony Low teaches self-defence to members of the Singapore Police and Armed Forces, while Master Yong operates a local martial arts training centre.

They also got to meet Sifu Lucian Lim of Yip Kin Wing Chun (叶堅詠春) who was using the center for filming purposes.

A rarely seen taolu from the Wang Bai-Zhao Southern Shaolin Hung Quan (王栢兆南少林洪拳) named Leopard Fist (豹拳).
