19-year-old Engy Lau En Yu from Sandakan delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 Baker’s Cottage Table Tennis Tour 3, making an impressive debut and securing the silver medal in the Girls’ Under-19 Singles event 🥈🔥
Representing Sabah since the age of 9, Engy Lau showed strong consistency and mental resilience throughout the competition. Under the guidance of Coach Alex Wong Meng Loong and long-term training at Excels Table Tennis Training Centre, she remained composed in crucial matches and fought her way into the final, bringing pride to Sandakan and Sabah ✨
After the event, she shared that this achievement reflects years of disciplined training and continuous support from her coach and training team 💪

Promoting table tennis in my school SJK(C) Lok Yuk Sandakan . Lets the young children to explore and learn table tennis. Hope that they can represent school, district or state 1 day in the future.

Nowadays children are getting less involving in sports. Table tennis is a great choice especially for the young ones. Its good to start early.
