What should have been a straightforward repair turned into a much bigger job after extensive modifications and circuit alterations were carried out by the "friend" of the owner.

Unfortunately, we've seen this happen many times over the years.

Modern and vintage guitar amplifiers contain high voltages and carefully designed circuits. An incorrect modification or repair attempt can create new faults, damage components, and make troubleshooting far more difficult.

Before reaching for the soldering iron—or handing your amp to someone without the proper experience — consider the long-term cost.

When it comes to your gear, trust a qualified service technician with the right knowledge, tools, and experience.

We're now working through this Marshall DSL100 and doing our best to return it to reliable, stage-ready condition.
