Sejambak Kasih. 23 August 2026.
Six tribes. Every division. One league.
For one day, we chose to look beyond the pitch.
There’s a particular kind of joy that happens when children pack a box for someone they’ve never met.
No trophies. No scoreboard.
Just rice, oil and biscuits — chosen, bought and packed together. Different races, different ages, different religions, different teams… all coming together as one.
Some tribes went shopping together. Some arrived with their boxes packed and ready to go. One team made sure everyone ate first. Another spent time with the children.
Football teaches them to pass, to communicate, to cover for one another. To win together. This was a different kind of lesson.
That community isn't confined by a family name, a division badge, race, religion or background. That sometimes you show up together simply because someone needs you to. And that sometimes, you do something even though there is absolutely nothing to win.
No medal at the end. No points on the table. No one keeping score. Just the quiet satisfaction of knowing you made someone else's day a little better.
Sehati sejiwa.
We're raising footballers.
But hopefully, somewhere along the way, we're raising good human beings too. 🧡💚
