We had an incredible visit from a DAN representative, Megan, at Underwater Explorer! 🌊🤿
She led an engaging and hands-on safety session for a local school, Truth Education, teaching students essential first aid skills and how to respond confidently in emergency situations. From learning how to stay calm to knowing when and how to ask for help, these young ocean explorers gained knowledge that could truly make a difference.
At Underwater Explorer, safety is at the heart of everything we do — both in and out of the water. A huge thank you to DAN for helping us empower the next generation with life-saving skills! 💙

🚨 PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT – TECHOBANINE COAST 🚨
Underwater Explorer is currently assessing a recently identified wreck site off the Techobanine coastline, Southern Mozambique.
Initial surveys suggest the presence of a historic cargo vessel with potential high-value contents.
We are exploring the possibility of a private-assisted salvage operation, and are opening expressions of interest for a small-scale support investment into phase 1 recovery logistics.
⸻
⚓ Phase 1 – Entry-Level Salvage Package
To keep the project lean and efficient, we are starting with a cost-effective recovery setup:
• 🤿 Basic dive gear (fully “tested” 😉)
• 🪣 Manual recovery system (bucket technology v1.0)
• 🛶 Surface support vessel (lightweight inflatable class)
• 🔦 Illumination system (intermittent functionality)
• 🧲 Precision metal recovery device lift bags etc (“magnet”)
• 🍻 Crew hydration & morale unit
💸 Estimated Startup Budget: $5000
💰 Projected Return: Up to 15% of recovered cargo value
⸻
We are currently compiling a shortlist of “serious investors” for this opportunity.

March has begun and we have already been so spoiled!
Almost a week into March and the ocean has been beyond incredible. From jaw dropping sittings, like an Oceanic Manta Ray coming to say hello or a group of Whitetip Reef Sharks all having a snooze on the sand by Kev's Ledge. To the crystal clear visibility and minimal current we have been seeing on the reefs.
March is truly the time to come dive with Underwater Explorer!
