Throwback to the day Andreas shot this beautiful old oryx bull that had lived a long life! The perfect past prime to harvest and a remarkable trophy full of character. In the other picture we have some of our wild mushrooms. Locally the are a delicacy called “Omajovas” they grow wild on termite hills and only surface in our rainy season when conditions are favorable.

Got a little busy and fell behind! On day two during their visit in April, David got a beautiful old Blue Wildebeest, while Andreas bagged his first African animal with a magnificent Springbok!

OPEN SKIES | Swiss airline Edelweiss Air has added a third weekly frequency to its upcoming Zürich–Windhoek route before the service has even launched.

The carrier will begin non-stop operations on 1 June 2026 with two flights per week, rising to three from 15 July. The route will be operated on an Airbus A350-900.
