Our Equestrian Thrift Day last weekend was a wonderful success, and thanks to the generosity of our riding community, we were able to collect two boxes full of donated tack and riding gear for the Namibian Animal Welfare Association(NAWA).

The donations have now made their way to Windhoek, and we hope they will bring comfort, support, and a few extra smiles to horses and owners in need.

A sincere thank you to everyone who donated, and to the incredible NAWA team for the dedication, compassion, and hard work they put into helping animals and communities across Namibia.

If you don't already follow NAWA, please give their page a like and support their important work. Every donation—whether equipment, supplies, or a financial contribution—helps make a difference.

Together, we can help create a brighter future for animals in need. ❤️

RVS Fun Fact Alert💙

At RVS, we don’t just talk about supporting our young riders, we actually have a committee member dedicated to them 🙌

Meet Blommie, our amazing Youth Coordinator, whose role includes inspiring, encouraging, guiding, and sometimes keeping our youngsters in check! 😄

Whether she’s walking jumping courses, answering a million questions, calming nerves before a round, or being their biggest supporter and cheerleader, Blommie is always a bright light. Kinda like a cool aunty or big sister, but way more fun.

Anyone who knows Blommie knows she is one of the kindest, most supportive people both inside and outside the arena. Our youngsters are lucky to have her on their side.

Because at RVS, developing confident riders isn’t just a side project, it’s important enough to have its own seat at the committee table. 💪
