The Cuito River was the place to be and DangeRas Lures were the lures to have.
With the biggest fish of all 3 categories (Large mouth bream, Small mouth bream and Tiger fish) being caught on DangeRas Lures.

Opened my tiger account for the year.
Happy to se that these beauties still patrol the waters around . Caught it on a black and purple Wooly from the bank, since the river was still to low to go on the boat.
I am very excited for this years fishing that awaits all of us.

The DangeRas jig is about to hit the market. The first batch is on its way to Bushwackers. These four colors is tried and tested and I can truly say we had alot of success with it. We are also busy putting some other popular color combinations together to make sure we have a color for every situation. If you want a color that we don't have in stock we will try our best to mix and match colors to ensure you get what you need.
One of the highlights of the year so far. What a privilege it was to see this old kudu bull swimming across the river. While we were fishing a bank on the Namibian side, my dad said that he was sure he just saw a kudu bull running away. Well that is nearly impossible and none of us have ever seen a kudu next to the river in this area before. A while later we heard a splash in the water and thought that it might have been a hippo, as we know they stay in that area. Something in the water caught my eye, but I wasn't sure what it was. My brother was the first one to see the kudu's horns. We quickly stopped fishing to go closer and have a look. I made a video, because we knew people would never believe a story like this! We drove closer and switched the engine off as we approached the kudu. We didn't want the kudu to stress and go into a state of panic. We tried keeping up with the trolling motor but the kudu was too far ahead. We had to start the engine again to keep up. The kudu safely made it to the other side after swimming approximately 400m on an angle.
