**The Heart Behind ER Namibia**

I’m Charmaine Fourie, founder and owner of ER Namibia.
Growing up, I always dreamed of having beautiful, unique tack for my horses—certain colours, special designs—but it was something I could never afford. Everyone around me seemed to have the stylish, “posh” tack, while I only had the basic gear my mom had bought me as a child. Without a job back then, my budget left no room for extras.

One day, I came across the idea of making a rope halter. It took me two full days to figure it out, and my first attempt was far from perfect—crooked knots and all—but something clicked. I was hooked. From that moment, I started researching, creating, and experimenting. I explored new designs, improved existing ones, and pushed myself to find ways to make each piece better.

Every product I create is made with passion, love, and care. I pay attention to every detail, always aiming to put a smile on my customer’s face. Quality is non-negotiable—because special tack should not only look beautiful, it should last. And just as importantly, I believe it should be affordable, so every horse lover has the chance to own something they’re proud of.

I’m proud of how far ER Namibia has come, and every piece that leaves my hands carries a piece of my heart with it.
