Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation in Sport 🇳🇦🤝🇨🇺 and Anti-Doping!

Today, Anti-Doping Namibia had the opportunity to present our mandate, programmes, and areas of work to the visiting CubaDeportes delegation. The engagement provided a valuable platform to exchange experiences, explore areas of cooperation, and identify opportunities to strengthen collaboration in sport and anti-doping.

It was a fruitful and constructive encounter, and we look forward to building on these discussions and seeing what we can achieve through strengthened Namibia–Cuba bilateral relations in sport.

Together, we can promote clean sport, strengthen sporting systems, and create greater opportunities for athletes.

🏐⚽ Build It U/13 Netball and Football Tournament at the OlympAfrica Centre in Omaruru was filled with energy, teamwork, and learning under the inspiring theme: “Yes We Can!”

Anti-Doping Namibia is proud to be part of the event through our Clean Sport Education Booth, where we engaged young athletes, coaches, and parents on the importance of competing fairly, the dangers of drugs and prohibited substances, and the values that define clean sport.

By educating our young athletes today, we are helping to build a future of champions who compete with honesty, respect, and integrity.

Together, we are shaping a generation that chooses clean sport because every champion starts with the right values.

This week, we had the privilege of engaging with the U20 National Rugby players on the importance of Clean Sport and Anti-Doping. Through interactive education sessions, the players learned about their rights and responsibilities, the risks associated with prohibited substances, and the principle of strict liability.

By empowering young athletes with knowledge, we are building a culture of integrity, fair play, and respect for sport. Clean sport begins with informed choices, and these future champions are taking an important step towards protecting themselves, their teammates, and the spirit of the game.

Together, we play true and compete clean.
