What an incredible start to the Momentum Kids Golf Series season!

Congratulations to *Jean Husselmann* on being crowned the Overall Winner of Round 1 after an exciting count-out finish against *Caleb Volschenk* . Both players delivered outstanding performances throughout the tournament, making for a thrilling finish to the opening event of the series. ⛳👏🏻

A huge thank you and congratulations to all the players who participated. With a fantastic field of *51 entries* , the event showcased the growing strength and future of junior golf in Namibia across all age divisions.

The level of talent, determination, sportsmanship, and passion on display was exceptional and sets a strong foundation for the remainder of the series.

⛳️ MEET THE FOUNDER | DAMIAN’S SPORTS ACADEMY (DSA)

At Damian’s Sports Academy, our mission is simple:
to give every junior golfer in Namibia the structure, coaching, and opportunities they deserve.

My name is Damian da Silva — Owner & Founder of DSA, and a PGA of South Africa qualified professional.

I only started playing golf in 2016 as a 24 handicap, and within two years I worked my way down to scratch through hard work, discipline, and belief. That journey is exactly why I’m so passionate about helping juniors — because I understand what it takes when you don’t always have the “perfect setup” from the start.

Today, I’m proud to coach and lead junior golf development in Namibia through:

✅ Momentum Junior Golf Series
✅ NAMKIDS Junior Golf Series
✅ Namibia’s first Junior International Tournament in over 15 years (December 2025)
✅ And our partnership with Special Olympics Namibia, supporting disabled golf development
