Since 2023, All4TheBabies, alongside our trusted partners, supporters, businesses, and communities, has raised close to N$1 million for vulnerable babies across Namibia.

Through awareness campaigns, fundraising initiatives, strategic partnerships, and advocacy efforts, we have worked tirelessly to combat baby dumping, promote adoption, and support organisations dedicated to protecting our nation's most vulnerable children. Every partnership, every donation, and every act of support has helped create hope where it is needed most.

Today, we are once again so proud to support the Ruach Elohim Foundation, and we invite YOU to become part of this life-saving mission.

The reality is that baby dumping remains a heartbreaking and prevalent challenge in Namibia. Often, desperation, fear, and a lack of information lead to tragic outcomes. What many people still do not know is that there are safe alternatives available.

Foundations such as Ruach Elohim Foundation have established baby boxes that provide mothers in crisis with a safe, anonymous, and compassionate option to surrender their babies. These initiatives ensure that vulnerable newborns receive immediate care, protection, and the opportunity for a brighter future. Most importantly, they provide an alternative to abandonment and help prevent unnecessary tragedy.

Awareness saves lives. Partnerships save lives. Action saves lives.

That is why we are calling on businesses, organisations, community groups, and individuals to partner with us as we continue raising both funds and awareness for this crucial cause.

I would like to nominate Ronel Peters, founder of Ruach Elohim Foundation, as a Hope Namibia Hero.

Ronel has given vulnerable, abandoned and neglected babies something far greater than temporary care — she has given them a home, safety, dignity and love.

Through Ruach Elohim Foundation, Ronel has opened her heart and her life to children who entered this world under incredibly difficult circumstances. Where a baby may have been abandoned, she created a place where that child could instead be received with open arms. Where there was uncertainty, she created safety. And where a little life needed someone to stand up and fight for them, she chose to be there.

What touches me most is that these children are not simply numbers or cases to Ronel. They are little lives that deserve to be held, protected, cared for and reminded that their lives have value.

Her work also creates awareness around baby dumping and provides mothers in crisis with a safer alternative through the Baby Saver initiative. Through these efforts, vulnerable babies are given another chance at life, care and a future.

To me, a hero is not necessarily someone who does one extraordinary thing. Sometimes a hero is someone who chooses, day after day, to keep showing up for people who cannot yet speak for themselves.

Ronel Peters has done exactly that.
She has given these little ones more than love.

She has given them a home.
She has given them hope.
She has given them a chance.

That is why I believe Ronel Peters deserves to be recognised as a Hope Namibia Hero 2026.
