The dominance of the Central Tennis Club's under 12 boys continued at the T0524 tennis tournament held in Swakopmund over the weekend (10-11 May 2024). Shafa Shimali took gold by beating Peter Gathuru in the final. Pameni beat Shafa Shimali in the group stages to top his group, however a rematch between Pameni Paulus and Shafa Shimali was prevented by Peter Gathuru who beat Pameni Paulus in the semifinal. The dominance of the medals podiums by Shafa, Pameni and Peter continued from 2022. The three top players under the tutelage of Mickey Alemu in Windhoek are yet to establish who will lead the pack in 2024. For now, chasing the circle continues with Shafa beating Peter, and Peter beating Pameni, and Pameni beating Shafa.
