Sport Klub Windhoek - SKW

The excitement is building as one of Namibia’s premier youth football tournaments draws closer. From 24 to 26 April 2026, the SKW Fields will come alive as more than 60 teams compete across age categories from U7 to U15. Supporters can look forward to a weekend filled with talent, determination, and unforgettable moments on the pitch.

Hosted by SKW Football Club, the tournament continues to play an important role in promoting youth development, sportsmanship, and community spirit through football. Each year, it provides young players with a valuable platform to grow, compete, and enjoy the game they love.

A special word of appreciation goes to long-standing sponsor RFS Fund Administrators for their unwavering commitment to the tournament and to youth football in Namibia. Their continued partnership has helped ensure the success and growth of this prestigious event over many years.

Was für ein sensationeller Büttenabend (Prunksitzung) gestern mit einer echten Starbesetzung! Die Räuber aus Köln, die HSO-Band, das Happy Sound Orchester aus Eschweiler sowie Peter Wackel haben für großartige Stimmung gesorgt. Dazu kamen überragende lokale Büttenredner, die den Abend perfekt abgerundet haben.

Heute geht es direkt weiter mit dem Straßenumzug – und zur Überraschung aller treten die Räuber gegen Mittag sogar noch einmal auf!

What a sensational carnival session (Büttenabend/Prunksitzung) yesterday, featuring a truly star-studded lineup! The band Räuber from Cologne, the HSO Band, the Happy Sound Orchestra from Eschweiler, and Peter Wackel all created an incredible atmosphere. On top of that, outstanding local carnival speakers made the night absolutely perfect.

Today the celebrations continue with the street parade – and to everyone’s surprise, Räuber will be performing once again around midday!
