Congratulations to Martin "The Alligator" Mukungu on being crowned the new WBO Africa Super Featherweight champion after defeating Flame "The Special One"Nangolo in the first round via KO.
He secured the title at the recently concluded Mayday Boxing Bonanza, hosted by AC Promotions at the Roman Catholic Hall in Windhoek.

Sunshine Address Malicious Withchunt
The MTC Nestor Sunshine Promotions core sponsored by PstBet once again notes with regret a false and malicious agenda that attempts to paint the Academy in a bad light. First a video resurfaced of an incident that happened 5 years ago. Then followed an incident of an unfortunate accident that took place in Windhoek 5 years thereafter. The narrative being created is that the driver was reckless and that these two incidences happened on the same day.
We would like to caution those pushing this agenda not to mislead the public without facts.
The facts are clear. The picture of the accident took place in Windhoek in 2024 when an oncoming car that was at high speed drove into the BMX X5. Luckily nobody was injured and we are grateful for that.
We wish to reiterate that we have zero tolerance for recklessness in all forms and we will not allow our good brand to be used for malicious intent.
