The NWF team that competed at the SA National Championships competition on Saturday delivered outstanding results. From 35 wrestlers entered,the team achieved a total of 35 medals.

‼️🇳🇦 U17 Beach Wrestling 🇳🇦‼️

Lisias Shipopyeni claimed another silver medal 🥈 in the 60kg Beach Wrestling in Egypt last night.

Henrico Durand narrowly missed out on the bronze medal against Egypt, earning a very respectable 4th place, after fighting his way up from the knockout matches of 16 contestants. Well done Henrico!

Unfortunately Petrus fell out of the medal matches facing his team mate and fellow Namibian, Lisias.

We are beyond proud of these young guns and excited to see what their future holds.

A big shout-out and congratulations to Coach Luis on the results of the beach wrestling team.

Yesterday the Beach Wrestling kicked off in Alexandria. Ester Abraham was up first delivered with another silver medal in her category 🥈🇳🇦💪🏽CONGRATULATIONS ESTER! 🎉🎊

The African Continental Championships concluded in Alexandria, Egypt on Sunday evening.

Our team showed a great performance and will be bringing back 2 silver medals and a bronze.
