​This prestigious selection is a testament to Lisias’s relentless discipline, hard work, and outstanding achievements—including his remarkable silver medal performances at the African Continental Championships.

​A special congratulations and thank you to Coach Luis Forcelledo Paz for his exceptional mentorship, technical guidance, and dedication in preparing Lisias for this stage. Coach Luis will be accompanying Lisias to Senegal to lead him from the corner as they take on the world’s best.

WWC tops nationals with 30 golds Windhoek Wrestling Club (WWC) topped the medal count at this year’s Namibian Wrestling Federation (NWF) National Championships after collecting 30 gold, 21 silver and 13 bronze...

On Friday evening, before the Windhoek Wrestling Club National Championships, the first session of the new Grassroots JuniorRefs kicked off.

A total of 5 young referees joined the more experienced group for their first training session in scoreboard and time keeping. This initiative, spearheaded by Erika Theron, Technical Director at the NWF, promises to further develop and drive officiating standards in Namibia.
