After many hours, countless kilometers, and a tremendous amount of effort, we've now set up bait stations across more than 60 km of terrain. Trail cameras are in place, and every possible step has been taken.
Now comes the waiting game.

The leopard has proven to be incredibly elusive, but we're hopeful that patience, persistence, and preparation will soon tip the odds in our favor. Every day brings us one step closer.

Thank you to everyone involved in this ongoing effort. We'll keep you updated as the story unfolds

After a few extremely busy days and many long hours in the field, we finally had some exciting action. We successfully secured a medium-sized elephant, followed by a beautiful stallion zebra trophy. This particular zebra had previously survived a lion attack, making it an especially unique and memorable animal.

After a long day recovering the elephant and regrouping with the rest of the team, we spent the remainder of the day setting out baits in the hope that a big tom might be feeding somewhere nearby. Unfortunately, no luck so far — but the hunt continues.

We then decided to take a short break and attend an event in town to lift morale and regroup before the next push. It turned into an amazing evening, and we would like to thank everyone involved so far for their hard work and support. Everything is going according to plan, and now we look forward to seeing what the A-Team can produce in the days ahead.
Stay tuned — more adventure to come.

One thing I can tell you — Botswana and Zimbabwe have not seen this much water in the last 10 years, not even in my experience. Roads have been washed away and badly damaged, making access to many of the best areas extremely difficult.

Life in Africa isn’t easy, and hunting gives you the opportunity to truly see the realities of the remote communities. It makes you realise just how important hunting and conservation are to these people, as they need every bit of support they can get.

Africa is not for the faint-hearted… but this is true hunting.
The way it should be.

Before any hunt begins, the permits are the most important part of the entire operation. Everything needs to be approved and stamped by Parks, and a game ranger is assigned to accompany you 24/7 to ensure that all regulations, conditions, and procedures are followed correctly.
This is all part of ethical, legal, and responsible hunting in Africa.

Day 2 — We pushed hard to reach our destination for the final leg of the journey, but the road had other plans for us. Heavy truck traffic, terrible road conditions, and slow border crossings made progress much slower than expected.
One thing about Africa — every border crossing is different every time you pass through. New regulations, new paperwork, and new procedures can easily delay you if you’re not prepared. Always make sure to check for updated requirements beforehand, or better yet, get a runner to assist with paperwork and crossing documents.
To add to the adventure, we had a trailer breakdown on Hunters Road after one of the bolts snapped. Thankfully, we managed to make an alternative plan, get the trailer to a safe place, and source new bolts to keep things moving.
Now we keep our fingers crossed for Day 3

Not every day do you get the opportunity to take a trophy eland bull like this — truly a once-in-a-lifetime animal.

Eland hunting is not for the faint-hearted. It requires hours of walking, careful stalking, and covering many miles for the chance at a single opportunity. Success is never guaranteed, especially when pursuing mature bulls of this caliber.

Congratulations to our client on harvesting such a unique and exceptional trophy bull. A hunt to remember for a lifetime.

People often misunderstand hunters.
They think it’s just about killing — like it’s something careless or emotionless. But that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Most hunters I know care deeply about nature. We spend more time in it than most people ever will. When we’re not hunting or guiding, we’re still out there — observing, learning, respecting the land and the animals that live on it.
Taking an animal’s life is not something we do lightly. It carries weight. There’s a responsibility that comes with it — and a flood of emotions that many people never see or understand. Respect, gratitude, even sadness. Those feelings are real, and they matter.
We hunt for reasons that go beyond the surface — for food, for conservation, for balance. And if you truly understand why you’re doing it, it changes the way you see everything.
It’s not about the kill. It’s about the connection — to nature, to the animal, and to something much bigger than ourselves.
