Today, the shortlisted Vice-Chancellor candidates Prof. Anicia Peters and Prof. Ferdnand Gideon shared not only their professional journeys, but their visions for the future of NUST.
The presentations moved between ambition and responsibility: expanding access without losing quality, modernising teaching while protecting academic integrity, and preparing students to not just enter the job market, but shape it.

There was also an honest recognition of current student and institutional challenges and what it would take for leadership to respond meaningfully.

Today serves as a key moment in NUST’s ongoing journey, as the university continues to reflect on its direction and the future it is working towards.
