Namibia is proudly represented at the birthplace of the Olympic Games!, Ancient Olympia, Greece | 19th International Session for NOAs & NOCsπŸ‡³πŸ‡¦

Our very own Britt Byl is among over 140 delegates from more than 100 countries gathered in Ancient Olympia for the 19th International Session for National Olympic Academies and National Olympic Committees, held from 17–24 May 2026 at the International Olympic Academy.

Under the theme "Empowering Inclusion, Integrity and Responsibility for Every Athlete," this high-level forum serves as a driving force in the coordination, planning, and implementation of Olympic educational projects and initiatives, helping build a strong, knowledgeable, and active network of people directly engaged in delivering Olympic Education.

This year also marks a milestone as the IOA launches its inaugural IOA Awards, recognising outstanding initiatives across five categories including Olympic Education, Athlete Development, Cultural Legacy, Sustainability, and Community Engagement.

Britt carries the Namibian flag in every conversation and workshop, bringing back knowledge, tools, and inspiration to strengthen Olympic values at home. πŸ”₯
