An EVENT not to MISS
31/05/2026
The proverb speaks about silent battles. People who abandoned you during your darkest season are not entitled to the story of your survival. The forest represents hardship, betrayal, loneliness, and danger; the predators symbolize the struggles that nearly destroyed you. Survival changes a person. Wisdom, strength, and scars are earned privately. Not every victory needs explanation, especially to those who disappeared when life became difficult. Some people only want to know your story after they see you standing strong again.

Today's Proverb
What made the dog bark in the night, the sheep saw too but chose silence.
This proverb cuts into a very specific human behavior: silent awareness in the face of danger or wrongdoing.
Both the dog and the sheep witnessed the same thing, but their responses were different. The dog reacted, alerted, warned, made noise. The sheep saw the same reality but chose silence.
Some people speak up when something is wrong; others stay quiet even when they know the truth.
Silence does not mean ignorance, it can mean fear, complicity, or self-preservation.
In many situations, the real issue is not what happened, but who is willing to acknowledge it openly.
The proverb challenges passive behavior. It suggests that problems often persist not because they are hidden, but because those who see them choose not to act or speak.
In communities → wrongdoing continues because witnesses stay quiet.
In leadership → failure grows when insiders refuse to raise alarms.
In personal life → truth is often suppressed to avoid conflict.
Seeing the truth and saying nothing is a choice and that choice has consequences.

INSPIRATION:
The Stonecutter’s Wisdom
A lone stonecutter stood before a stubborn rock, lifting his hammer under the burning sun. Each strike landed with purpose, yet the rock showed no visible change, no crack, no weakness, no surrender.
The people nearby laughed. “Why exhaust yourself when nothing is happening?” they said. To them, effort without immediate results was foolishness.
But the stonecutter understood something they did not. He kept striking, calm, patient, unwavering. Then, on what seemed like just another blow, the rock split clean in two.
The crowd praised the final strike, believing it carried all the power. But the stonecutter simply nodded, knowing the truth: the rock did not break because of one moment, it yielded to the weight of consistent effort over time.
African Proverb:
“Little by little, a little becomes a lot.”
Lessons:
🎯Progress is often invisible before it becomes undeniable.
🎯Consistency builds strength that one-time effort never can.
🎯Patience is not weakness, it is disciplined endurance.
🎯Those who quit early never witness the power of accumulated effort.
Moral:
👌True success is not found in dramatic breakthroughs, but in the quiet discipline of showing up again and again. What seems like “one final strike” is simply the reward of persistence that refused to stop.
