It’s been a “little” while between posts.. pictures say a thousand words right? Here goes..

As 2022 comes to a close it’s nice to reflect on what has been another exciting 12 months with so many great fish caught and even better friends made. Enjoy the festive season everyone, looking forward to what 2023 brings 😎 Merry Christmas 🍻🥳🍾

What a day! We get to see some amazing things out there on the water that will stay with us forever and today we witnessed this Marlin buzzing under the boat in vibrant colors looking for the skipjack tuna we just pulled out, and then watched it smash it with our hook in it. Good effort by the McLennan brothers! ✊🏼🤝 2.5 hour fight, no harness. 😰

🤯2021 is here and going quick as we near the end of January already! It’s been a busy time over the past month in the wind but a handful of decent weather days gave us some great memories. Cheers to all the new customers, I know you had a good time and I look forward to taking you on more fishing adventures in the future. Yet again I’ve been slack in updating what we’ve been catching @ Greenwoods Fishing Adventures, but as you can see it’s been a pretty good couple of months 😎 cheers to all the fisher-men, women and kids I’ve taken out over 2020, here’s to an even better 2021!! Merry Christmas everyone! 🍻

As you can see it’s been a hard few months out here on Norfolk Island during Covid...😰😜 no actually it has been hard but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been fishing 😎 now it would seem the worst is over as borders are opening and tourists are yet again visiting our little paradise. Let’s end this year on a high, safely 🤞🙌🐟

It’s been too long since my last post.. With Covid turning everyone’s plans into a spin it’s still hard to see what will be the new normal going forward. Amongst the chaos and uncertainty we’ve still been getting out on the water to enjoy this paradise we are so lucky to call home. With 0 Tourists on Island life has been slower but it’s given us time to search for new ground and sus out some new species. Greenwoods Fishing Adventures is ready and waiting for you the traveling fishermen/women when the boarders open. We look forward to seeing you soon 😎

After an amazing 2019 this year has got some high expectations to fill.. so far it’s doing just fine with consistent quality fish being caught by all clients, young, old and of all skill levels. The coming month is usually the hardest time to get clients out due to wind but the days we can look out cause it’s going to be some red hot fishing.

Let’s recap 2019 quickly, probably the best year of fishing weather we’ve had for decades which made for many memorable days on the big blue. Sorry if you’re photo didn’t make the 24 I just chose.. there’s just too many to chose from! I know I know it’s half way through Jan 2020 but here’s what we did in December 19 to close out the best year I’ve had to date 🙌 with some great weather and company December turned it on especially the Yellowfin with some crazy days that most fishermen would only dream about 🤤
