She was called “Chimamanda the Brilliant”. In Secondary school days, everyone said she’d be a doctor and a great personality in the society.

But by the time she got into the higher institution, Chimamanda became “Chimamanda the Backlog”.
Late to class. Phone in hand all night. “I’ll study tomorrow” became her national anthem.

One night, her younger sister asked her: “Sis, why did you stop trying?”
Chimamanda had no answer. Tears rolled down her cheeks, how did she suddenly become a backlog? she asked herself.

That same night, she wrote 3 words on her mirror with lipstick: “I WILL RISE”.
5AM became her new midnight. Discipline became her new motivation.
She stopped waiting to “feel like it” and started moving anyway.

He looked like he could do more if life had favoured him.

Handsome, fair, tall and had a good body physique. He spoke intelligently too. Somehow it seemed like something was missing.

It was raining heavily and I had taken shelter in a salon. This was where I met him.

I assumed him to be a regular visitor to the salon because he was cordial with the apprentices there.

Then, he said it himself..."life hasn't really been kind to me. If it were I know where I would have been."

But then I wondered, is it in life's place to Favour us or in our place to attract Favour?

TODAY IS GRATEFULNESS MIDWEEK.

I AM GRATEFUL FOR GROWTH ✨

My love for the young ones and youths started many years ago 🥺❤️‍🔥

I am Miracle Chigaemezu Emenike and this is a glimpse of my story...

I was raised in the City of Aba, Abia State.

At a young age I gathered children together with both young and elderly friends, I will teach them and my favourite bible model was Job, I don't stop talking about how excellent he was and why we should have an excellent character that is worthy of emulation as God's children.

My Family Church Grace Generation shaped me, Saturdays bible Exposition, teachings, fasting, prayers, choir and Drama rehearsals.

My Mom was our Children's teacher and the children's church was the safest place to be in.

A time came I travelled to Lagos State, away from home but I continued springing forth, made new friends but I couldn't cope there.

I missed home, I missed my parents, I missed my siblings, I missed my church too and one day something happened (an experience that no child should have) and I had to come back home after some months, my parents made the decision that their children will be raised by them (story for another day).

Today I'm forever grateful to God.
Today I'm grateful for the growth.
Today I'm grateful for the future.
Today I'm grateful for experiences that have shaped me.

One day I will tell my story, for now let's focus on the processes that will birth our testimony.

I am Miracle Chigaemezu Emenike, a Global Voice, a Generational Saviour and Influencer.

I'm on a Mission to help young people discover purpose, gain clarity, turn their weakness into greatness and unlock the great potentials in them through Coaching, Mentorship and Clarity Sessions.
