If I could only sell 3 doughnut flavours, these are the ones I’d start with. 🍩
Not because they’re necessarily the “best” flavours, but because I’d want a small menu that gives customers different reasons to buy.
1. A classic glazed doughnut 🍩
I’d keep one simple, familiar option.
It gives customers something they already know and love, and it’s also a great entry point for people who don’t want an overly rich or adventurous flavour.
2. A filled doughnut 🤎
This would be my indulgent option.
A filled doughnut gives you room to experiment with different fillings while keeping the base product the same. You can introduce flavours like chocolate, vanilla, caramel, or Oreo without creating an entirely new doughnut from scratch.
3. A signature/milky doughnut ✨
I’d also include something that feels a little more special to the brand.
This is where you can create a flavour people begin to associate with your business. It could have a unique topping, filling, texture, or combination that makes customers say, “I want that one.”
And that’s the point.
If you’re starting a doughnut business, you don’t necessarily need 10–15 flavours on your menu.
Start with flavours that serve different purposes:
One familiar.
One indulgent.
One distinctive.
Then pay attention to what people actually order, reorder, recommend, and ask for.
Your menu should grow from customer demand, not just because you can make more flavours. 🍩
If you could only choose 3, which three would you put on your menu?
