Just wrapped up an incredible two day workshop at the University of Ibadan as part of the British Academy Global Professor project (UEA-SRU).
Day 1 kicked off with engaging seminar presentations at the University, followed by Day 2's hands-on collection care and exhibition curation training at the Museum of Unity Ibadan. Watching early career professionals and students dive deep into collaborative brainstorming sessions was truly inspiring - together we developed the exhibition theme "Living Legacies: Space and Traditions" along with compelling storylines.
The program's focus on building curatorial capacity among emerging professionals made for dynamic discussions and creative problem solving. It's amazing what can happen when passionate minds come together to explore how we preserve, present, and share our cultural heritage.
Re-Org Nigeria is proud to be part of this initiative supporting the next generation of museum and heritage professionals.
