Jesus will come back soon. However, no one knows the exact time when Jesus is coming again. Mark 13:32 says, “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Interestingly, the disciples asked Jesus the same question just before He returned to heaven. At that time, Jesus told them it was not for them to know the times or seasons which are in the Father’s authority. Therefore, Jesus may come back tomorrow, next month, next year or 100 years from now. So what does this mean for you and me? Always be ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ. Watch and focus on Jesus because the devil is seeking to distract mankind from understanding the signs and closeness of Jesus’ coming.

The Emir of Kano, Mallam Mohammed Sanusi II, has urged Nigerians to vote wisely and elect the right candidate for their choose, during the forthcoming election on Saturday February 16, 2019. It was reported that the Emir Sanusi gave an advise to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar when he paid him a courtesy visit in his palace in Kano on Sunday. ”Election is not a war, there is no need to shed blood and there is need to caution and enlighten the public against violence. ”As a father to all, I always preach peace; this is because no meaningful development can take place without peace.‎

”I urge eligible voters to vote for whoever that is competent and capable they think will take them to the promise land,” he said. Speaking further, “It is what the people choose is what is going to serve them in the next four years.” Emir Sanusi urged elligble voters should obtained their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC’s), so that they will have the right to vote. According to INEC, “No PVC’s, No Vote.”

Atiku was accompanied to the palace by his running mate, Mr Peter Obi, Senate President, Bukola Saraki, PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus and Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso.Others include, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alhaji Aminu Wali, former Cross River Governor, Mr Liyel Imoke, former Minister of Power, Alhaji Tanimu Turaki, Sen. Abdul Ningi, ‎Hajiya Baraka Umar and Kano PDP governorship candidate, Abba Kabir Yusuf.

Sanusi was selected to succeed his granduncle, Ado Bayero, as the Emir of Kano on 8 June 2014. His appointment was controversial; some believed that it was a politically-motivated move to avoid fraud charges from his tenure as governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. Many expected Bayero’s son to succeed him as emir, and protested Sanusi’s appointment. He was crowned Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II on 9 June 2014, the 14th Emir of Kano[34] and leader of the Tijaniyya Sufi order (the second-most-important Muslim position in Nigeria after the Sultan of Sokoto, leader of the larger Qadiriyya Sufi order).

After Sanusi urged his followers to fight the Nigerian Islamist group Boko Haram, the Kano Mosque (the seat of his emirate) was bombed in November 2014; 150 people were killed. In December 2014, Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau accused him of deviating from Islam and threatened his life. Sanusi replied that he is “safe with Allah”, and likened Shekau’s comments (describing Sufis as unbelievers) to those of the heretical Islamic preacher Maitatsine.

TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR MIND (X)
*Good morning and God bless you. The beginning of each day is heralded by the rising of the sun. When the sin rises, it is seen by everyone and even though many cannot look at it, by it's light they see every other thing. It is my prayer for you that the Lord will cause your glory to manifest and radiate such great light that the whole world around you may see and capture the beauty of the Lord in Jesus name!
*Philippians 4:8 is still our text and we are rounding up the reflection from it today. Here is what it says: "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."
*Our lives have been designed by God to bring praise and glory to Him (Isaiah 43:21). Whatever we do or say or even think should end by releasing praise to the name of the Lord. This is when destiny and purpose are fulfilled.
*Paul admonished believers to strive to live lives that are worthy of praise by thinking and doing that which is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable. A life that will bring praise and glory to God must be characterized by these values.
*Do you desire that someone will burst into praise unto God because of your life and impact? Then think on these things. Do you desire that generations unborn will bless the name of the Lord for the life you lived, the impact you made and the legacies you left? Then your life must be punctuated by acts of truth, honour, justice, purity, love and commendation.
*We will not be here forever but our works and impact will outlive us. It will shape the next generation and structure the way they will do things. Ultimately, our impact on the sands of time should cause praise to erupt and be given to God. Hence, we must be concerned that what we think upon and act upon reflect these values we have been studying these last ten days.
*Everybody's life has been designed to bring praise unto God but many do not make the choice and take the step to be guided by truth, honour, justice, purity, love and commendation. This is the pathway to fulfilling the purpose for which we are created.
*As I round up this series today, let me say "thank you" for being a part of this series in the last ten days. It has been very remarkable and inspiring sharing these truths with you. May the Lord bless you as you live your life being guided by thoughts and acts of truth, honour, justice, purity, love and commendation in Jesus name! Go and make a difference in your world and set the pace for all we have learnt these
