2026 World Cup has been 🔥🔥🔥
What a tournament it's been!
From brilliant goals to dramatic saves, unforgettable upsets, and yes... a few well-deserved red cards.
It got us thinking: if agriculture had its own referee, what actions would be sent off the pitch?
So we've handed out a few red cards of our own to the practices that hold farmers back, weaken food systems, and make sustainable agriculture harder than it should be.
Did we miss any?
Tell us one thing in agriculture that deserves a straight red card. We'll be in the comments looking for the best answers.

Every successful food system is a team effort.
Farmers grow it.
Transporters move it.
Processors add value.
Retailers connect it to consumers.
Together, they make sure food gets from farm to fork.
So let's have some Friday fun:
If agriculture were a group project, which team member would you be?
Drop your answer below and tell us why.

Women's cooperatives are more than groups.
They're learning hubs, support systems, business networks, and often the foundation of stronger farming communities.
When women come together, knowledge is shared, opportunities are created, and communities become more resilient.
What's the first thing you think happens at a women's cooperative meeting?

Food risks aren't always obvious.
Some risks are invisible: Aflatoxins in grains, Chemical residues in produce, Microbial contamination in water, Improper pesticide use during farming, etc.
This is why food safety is a SYSTEM, not a guess. What we don’t see can still affect what we eat.
Safe food is not assumed; it is tested, handled, and protected.
