It's raining season! Update!

Rainfall is good for crops, but it also comes with risks.
What you do after the rain can determine your yield.

Here is a quick check that can help you prevent losses and protect your harvest.

Smart farming is not just about planting, it’s about responding to conditions in real time.

We made it to the news!

This time, celebrating innovation and more so, future-proofing it.!

This week, alongside AGRA, we officially launched our Climate-Smart Agricultural Production initiative - the commissioning of our new Solar-Powered Borehole System in Maitumbi and hosted live demonstrations of our Productive Use of Energy (PUE) technologies, including solar irrigation pumps, multi-grain threshers, and bubble dryers at our Talba Market warehouse.

The Honourable Commissioner of Agriculture, Niger State was present to commission this innovation, alongside other government officials, partners, and local smallholder farmers who witnessed this major shift toward sustainable agriculture and we're glad to be at the forefront of such huge initiative.

By replacing fossil-fuel-dependent practices with clean energy, we are empowering grain farmers in Northern Nigeria to access year-round water, drastically reduce post-harvest losses, and survive harsh dry spells. To date, this initiative has already reached over 8,000 farmers, aggregated 15,000 MT of grains, and planted over 20,000 trees!

Today is World Biodiversity Day!

Biodiversity is the foundation of our food systems. It sustains healthy soil, enables pollination, and strengthens the resilience of crops and ecosystems. Without it, food production becomes fragile and unsustainable.

Protecting biodiversity means protecting our future, our farmers, and our food. Join the conversation today by choosing sustainable practices, supporting local farmers, and advocating for a healthier planet.

Did you know?

Farms that use precision inputs and smart farming practices can increase crop yields by up to 20%–30%, helping farmers produce more food, reduce waste, and improve profitability.

With precision inputs, farmers can maximize productivity, reduce losses, and grow more efficiently. From better seed selection to data-driven farming decisions.

Innovation is transforming the way food is grown across Africa.

Data on mobile phones, aerial drones, and space satellites all point to an industry that is changing at a rate that most people don't even notice.

These roles may sound surprising, but they are already shaping the future of food.

Agriculture is no longer just an industry.
It’s an ecosystem of opportunities.

In Nigeria, smallholder farmers face a harsh reality, declining soil health, unpredictable yields, and rising pressure to feed a growing population. But a new shift is happening.

Through a powerful collaboration between us and TOURBA, farmers are moving beyond survival into regeneration, embracing climate-smart practices, rebuilding soil health, and unlocking the future of carbon farming.

From training sessions and demonstration fields to real farmer testimonies, the message is clear: we are not just increasing yield, we are restoring the land.

Food doesn’t begin on shelves.

It begins on farms with people who manage soil, weather, time, and risk to feed millions.

At ThriveAgric, we work to ensure farmers are supported by systems that make food production more reliable, resilient, and inclusive. From sustainable farming practices to structured market access, our focus is on strengthening the foundations of food security.

Because when farmers are supported, food systems work better for everyone.

Join the conversation, how can we better support the people who feed us?
