The Èkìtì State Chapter of the Nigerian Youth Congress under the Executive Chairman, Ààrẹ Adedara Temitope Moses congratulate all the elected Local Government Chairmen and ward Councilors in the state, on the 2nd of December, 2023.

Èkìtì people have entrusted their scarce resources into your hands, we urge you to manage them very well, to benefit the lives of every Èkìtì citizens.

We especially congratulate our members who got elected on Saturday to represent their political wards: Olumide Damilola, Itapa/Osin ward of Oye Local Government, Adewumi Sikiru Adekunle (Ọmọ Imam) Igede Ward 2, who are Oye Local Government branch coordinator of NYC and the PRO 2 to the Nigerian Youth Congress, respectively, also Abolarinwa Oluwafemi, Ìjerò Ward D and others.

We beseech you all to distinguish yourselves in the service to humanity placed in your hands, as the saying goes: “to whom much is given, much is expected,” your people are expecting effective delivery of their mandate entrusted into your hands.

You are closer to the people, engage the citizens always and support the agenda and program of the Biodun Abayọmi Oyebanji led administration in the state to give dividends of democracy to Èkìtì people.

The low turnout of the council election Saturday shows that our people need to be more sensitized about the need to participate in every election process in the state, and the country at large. We hope you all will be proactive in your duties, so, the people will know the essence of the government at the grassroots.

The Nigerian Youth Congress under Ààrẹ Adedara Temitope Moses will continue to engage you all to do better and give your best to Èkìtì people.

There is an organization where everybody decides to do their will, they follow their way forgetting there is a law guiding their activities to grow the organization, their Chairman notices their err attitude, got annoyed, talks and appeals to them but little or no change happened, this makes the Chairman think of how to instill discipline by all means, should I sanction? Suspend? The Constitution of this organization and labour law support all this, how will I instill discipline?

All the above becomes the Chairman thought until he decides to use the hard way.

He begins by sanctioning them, suspension on suspension, production begins to low, this makes him more frustrated and confused about what to do. What should I do? this becomes his question again, he begins to think until he decides to introduce incentives and gives incentive to his members, the best-conducting behavior of the month gets the increased incentive.

When begins to apply the above, he begins to have his team rally around him, and their behaviors begin to change, suspension doesn't work, but showing them love by giving them incentives works.

Is man conditioned to incentives to behave well? No, every man irrespective of gender wants to feel loved and have the feeling of being among the team not left out.

If you want to grow your organization, you can't grow it with harshness towards your people, Being lenient with them might not work, but develop a plan of showing them love, carrying them along, don't let any of them feel left out, they are all useful for your growth.

Build a relationship of brothers full of honesty, transparency, and commitment with them, every employer must let his employees feel appreciated in the organization, and no employee should take the love and gratitude of his employer for weakness.

Good and great human relationships irrespective of social, economic, political, or religious status build an organization, incurred it, and spread it.

Greatolasoji comes in peace.

Perfection requires patience, commitment, and hard work. Your marriage needs these.

BELIEVE IN THE PROCESS

It's the seventh (7th) months of the year 2021 that you have so much anticipation for in year 2020 to make things right in your life purpose.

In your build up to this year, you have resolutions and goals for this year.

How well have you achieve the resolutions and goals?

It is time to believe in the right process you are following in accomplishing your resolutions and goals for this year, don't get discourage in the process as long the process is right in fulfilling your life purpose.

Don't let social and personal vices discourage you from believing in the right process you are following in achieving your goals.

If you know the process you are following in accomplishing your resolutions and goals this year is wrong, kindly have rethink of the process and follow process that will give you results in the next six (6) months.

Remember there is 45 minutes per half in football and the last 45 minutes always decide final results of the football match.

Don't relent in believing the good process.

Believe it, you will achieve it.

The journey of life purpose is like that of normal journey.

It is required of you to prepare everything needed of you whenever you are going on a journey to be ready and be with you, you also highlight thing you needed in the journey that you are yet to get or have in a jotter, notepad or in your memory, but for proper ex*****on of things you needed in the journey, you write it down.

In this month of April, prepare everything you need to make another record of achievement in your life purpose.

Don't forget to also highlight necessary things you need to achieve another record this month in your jotter or notepad.

Writing it will make it easy for you to get them ready for your life purpose and put them on scale of preference which one is important to others.

In this month, make proper plan of your life journey, don't journey this month without plans and know what is important to your purpose above what is not important to your purpose.

Pursue, get, and do what is important to your purpose and neglect those that are not important to your life purpose.

Good morning my lovely friend,

It is brighter Monday morning, arise from the bed you are, talk to your creator this morning before you set out on your life purpose this week.

Don't forget that you have to move today when you need to, walk when you need to walk.

Know this, if you move when you supposed to walk, you won't get to the land of achiever on time.

The goal you are pursuing have different stages and steps and you need to applied proper measures to appropriate stage.

Different stages, different approaches.

Sir, when it is time to run, don't wait for anyone to push you to run the race of purpose, run the race of purpose by taking your creator along.

Don't walk when you need to run, the stage of running is faster than stage of walking.

Run strategically.

The purpose is clear to you, don't quit on your purpose cause you are the winner and winners don't quit.

Move when you supposed to move.
Walk when you supposed to walk.
Run when you supposed to run.

The journey is yours alone and not of anyone, you are a winner already, don't just lose focus.

Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is the practical example of a woman with full self value and respect.

She believes in our life purpose to offer economic value to the World, she was first female minister in Nigeria and now first African and women to become World Trade Organization DG.

If you want to go far in life, no matter the gender you are, you must believe in your life purpose and respect yourself, don't compare yourself with anyone in this world, your purpose is the most expensive and unique in this world.

The field you are in, you are to become big fish in the ocean not big fish in the pound.

Dream big, take step to leave where you are, the more you move forward, the more you see and understand better.


Don't feel comfortable in your current comfort zone cos your comfortability lies in achieving your life purpose.

I was told the woman speaks in her accent despite had her degree in Harvard University, another signs of self confidence.

Most of us as lost lot of things cos of our inferiority complex in our language.

I remember meeting a politician in Akure last month and rubbished me cos I addressed him in English saying he thought am not a Yoruba guy, he said I have good marketing skills, but marketing to him in English discouraged him.

Take pride in speaking your language, while speaking foreign languages, don't be shy when your accent is clearly heard by people, you are telling them your self confidence.

You are born to be unique and you must live a unique life.
