RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement approved accounting processes;
Ensure cost control and reduction;
Render accurate and timely returns to appropriate statutory/regulatory authorities in compliance with all applicable requirements;
Plan, organize and implement accounting operations and objectives;
Coordinate and integrate activities toward achievement of established goals and objectives; and
Prepare reports and advise on ways of improvement vis a vis compliance, methodologies and best practice to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCY REQUIRED
First degree in numerate or semi-numerate disciplines with professional qualification like ACA or ACCA;
Strong background in account, stock management process and MIS;
High degree of integrity and confidentiality;
Working knowledge of accounting software;
Minimum of two years cognate experience in a produce or haulage company;
