*DEMOCRACY DAY 2026: OMOIKE CELEBRATES NIGERIA'S DEMOCRATIC JOURNEY*

As Nigerians commemorate Democracy Day 2026, I, Hon. Romeo Aloaye Omoike, APC Chairmanship Candidate for Etsako West Local Government Area, join fellow citizens in celebrating the nation's democratic progress and the enduring values of freedom, justice, and good governance.
Today, we honour the heroes and heroines whose sacrifices and commitment laid the foundation for the democracy we enjoy today.
Their legacy continues to inspire our collective pursuit of a better Nigeria.
I commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his commitment to strengthening democratic institutions and advancing national development. I also applaud Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, for his dedication to infrastructure development, security, youth empowerment, and people-centred governance.
As we celebrate, I urge the people of Etsako West and Nigerians everywhere to remain committed to peace, unity, and active participation in the democratic process. Together, we can build a more accountable, prosperous, and inclusive society.
