NNL 2026/2027 SEASON TO KICK OFF OCTOBER 31, 2026 WITH HEARTLAND VS CROWN FC

Solution FC Listed in Conference B

The Nigeria National League, NNL, has announced that the 2026/2027 season will kick off on Saturday, 31st October, 2026 with a star match between Heartland FC vs Crown FC, following resolutions reached at its Annual General Meeting.

All other clubs will begin their campaign for the season on Saturday, 7th November, 2026, at various match venues across the country.

Our dear club, Solution FC, will be campaigning in Conference B this season.

The Soludo Solution Pre-Season Tournament commenced on Monday, 24th August, 2026, at the Awka City Stadium with fanfare and excitement.

Eight professional football clubs from across Anambra State are taking part in the four-day tournament aimed at preparing teams for the new season.

The ceremonial kickoff was performed by the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Patrick Agha Mba. The event also had in attendance the Interim Supervisor of Solution FC and Chairman of the Anambra State Football Association, Chief Chikelue Iloenyosi, popularly known as ‘D’ General’.

Solution FC Announces One-Week Screening Exercise Ahead of 2026/2027 NNL Season

The Management of Solution Football Club of Anambra State invites both new and existing players to its open screening exercise ahead of the 2026/2027 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

The week-long exercise will take place from Thursday, August 13, 2026 to Thursday, August 20, 2026 at the Awka City Stadium, Anambra State. Screening will commence daily at 7:00 AM prompt.

The exercise will be conducted free of charge and in line with NNL and NFF guidelines. It is aimed at identifying talented and experienced footballers of Anambra extraction and beyond to strengthen the squad for the new season.

The club will provide accommodation for participants at the club house throughout the duration of the screening. However, participants are to bear the cost of their feeding and transportation.

Your voices, prayers and presence at the stadium and across our platforms carried us through every matchday. Through victories, draws and difficult moments, you stood by us with passion and belief. For that loyalty, we say a heartfelt Thank You.

We wish to specially appreciate the father of the state and our number one supporter, the Executive Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, for his visionary leadership and commitment to sports development in Anambra State. His support remains a strong pillar for Solution FC and the growth of football in our state.

Match Report: Solution FC 1-2 Akwa United

The Solution Boys winded off their campaign with 1-2 loss against Akwa United in the season finale match for the Conference B of the ongoing 2025/26 Nigeria National League (NNL) season played at the Awka City Stadium, Anambra State on Thursday, 16th April, 2026.

The three goals in the encounter came within a space of six minutes in was a must win for the visitors to have a fighting chance of qualification for the top tier, the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Sunday Aniebiet scored in the 53rd minute to break the deadlock for the Promise Keepers while Michael Okenwa unleashed a belter from outside the box in the 56th minute to strengthen the team's desire for top tier football.

The Solution Boys would respond by reducing the deficit through substitute, Chinemerem Okuani who scored from close range inside the box in the 58th minute with the Promise Keepers holding on to see off the contest taking the maximum points at stake.

With the result, Solution FC have completed their run for the 2025/26 NNL season finishing 6th on the Conference B log with a total of 25 points from 18 league matches.
