Kidnapping and insecurity continue to raise serious concerns across many parts of our country. Today, Sunday, 14 June 2026, another disturbing incident was reportedly recorded around the Vegetable Market area on Airport Road, Benin City, Edo State.

If the information in this video is accurate, it is a reminder of the need for improved security measures and greater vigilance within our communities. Everyone deserves to feel safe while going about their daily activities.

My thoughts are with those affected and their families. I hope the relevant authorities thoroughly investigate the incident and take appropriate action.

Let's continue to look out for one another and promptly report suspicious activities to the appropriate security agencies.
