A Message to Every Nigerian My people, the insecurity in our country has gone beyond anything we can continue to address with only anger, online debates or street protests. Yes, we have every right to be upset. Yes, we have every reason to demand better from those in government. But at this point, it is clear that shouting alone will not save us. Complaints without strategy will not protect our families. Blame without action will not secure our communities. Nigeria needs all of us to rise with sense, not only with noise. It is time to accept that security is now a collective responsibility. We must come together at the community level and build strategies that work for our own safety. Not violence, not chaos, but organised and intelligent community protection. This means neighbourhood watch networks that are active. This means working with local leaders and security volunteers who understand the terrain. This means supporting credible community policing structures and creating systems for quick alerts when danger arises. It means knowing who enters and leaves our streets. It means looking out for one another the same way families do. If we wait for government alone, we are finished. If we continue to fight alone, we are exposed. But if we unite with strategy, discipline and cooperation, we stand a better chance of keeping our homes and our people safe. Nigeria belongs to all of us. Our safety is our first duty to one another. Let us stop the endless online ranting and start building real defence systems in our communities. This boy who goes by name Wisdom Edikan Okon was found/abandoned in a restaurant and was brought to Eziama Police Station, Aba Abia State Command. He said that he school at Godswill International School Calabar. A pupil of primary 2. He gave his father's name as Edikan Okon and his siblings names as Udeme, Akaninyene and Blessing.
