Benbina Football Club and Academy

With the gradual easing of the lock down and the opening of sports in Nigeria, Benbina football acedemy in Calabar is opening it's doors to Football activities.

Benbina acedemy is the development plan put together by Benbina FC for the discovery and development of talents for the growth of football in the country.

The acedemy admits both male and female students to its school.

The acedemy is managed by well trained coaches and supporting staff.

Our aim at benbina football acedemy is to provide the best facilities, coaching and football programmes to create a perfect environment for the students.

for players to develop and reach their full potentials. We aim to develop players to play in the first team of different clubs in every parts of the world as professionals and our admission process is simple and on a continuous basis as more talented qualified students are discovered and invited to join the academy.

A lot of talents are being wasted due to non-availability of the needed support to make it as professional footballers and being able to make a life for themselves and their families, leading to more economic hardship
and frustration which often leads to robbery, prostitution, drug abuse, kidnapping and other crimes.

It is for this reason that Benbina acedemy have decided to help with the transformation of aspiring talents to become the best
they can be

To function effectively as an organizations, we require materials and financial assistance in running the academy:

• Training material:
football boots, Jerseys and football kits e.g , cones, soccer hose (socks), shin guards, footballs, first aid medical facilities, nets,first aid medical and all other sports equipment and materials. our future endeavours and achievements would focus on the calibre of talents we have been able, and will continue to groom in the country.

The football club Benbina fc is owned by benbina nig limited. Its a family company which has existed since 1988.
The football club is supervised by Maurice Inah but the management and daily activities of the club is done by very competent former experienced old players who hv played professional football before retiring to benbina fc.
Maurice Inah himself a former player who was in 1986 invited to the under 17 camp of the golden eaglet under 17 by the head coach Sebastian Brodrick- imasuen
The club was founded on october 1st 2016 in ikot ansa but started screening players in January 2018.
. Ikot Ansa is a small community in the calabar municipality. Ikot ansa is a community that is highly populated with youths. Youths account for 75% of the population. The community can boast of 10 existing football clubs. This clubs are involved in local competition organised in the community and within the state.

The club is situated in cross river state in the calabar municipality in the ikot ansa district.
The home pitch of the football team is christianed the stadium of saints. The stadium is situated in the saint patricks collage one of the oldest schools in the state.

The benbina football club has 3 coaches two for the football fc while d 3rd manages the the benbina acedemy.
In the near future the club plans to have the female wing of rhe club.

The emergence of Benbina fc in the community is to raise the bar of football management and try to give the players a little professionalism in football as all the players are kitted and expose to competitive football.

All Coaches in the club are certified by the national institutes for sports in Nigeria.

The club house which is owned by the club is situated in the community @ no 3 Primary School Road a distance not too far from the club football field.

Most players are from the community while a few come from neighbouring community to play for the club. The players are young and very skillful. The age of the players are between 15 to 21 years which makes them very hungry to play.

The club has three traditional jersey colours
1. A red top and a black pant with black horse
2. A blue top and a blue pants with red horse
3. Black top and black pants with a blue horse
