Big boost for Galatasaray and Nigeria! ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ

Victor Osimhen has returned to full team training with his Galatasaray teammates after spending several weeks on the sidelines with a right adductor/groin injury. ๐Ÿ’ชโšฝ

The Nigerian striker picked up the injury during Galatasarayโ€™s 3โ€“2 away victory over ฤฐstanbul BaลŸakลŸehir on September 4, where he opened the scoring with a stunning strike in the 16th minute before being forced off in the 33rd minute.

Osimhen subsequently missed several games for Galatasaray, including their 3โ€“1 Champions League defeat to Sporting CP, the league win over Kocaelispor and the humiliating 4โ€“0 defeat away to Trabzonspor.

His injury also ruled him out of Nigeriaโ€™s opening 2027 AFCON qualifying matches against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau, forcing the Super Eagles to cope without their star striker. ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿฆ…

Before the injury, Osimhen had been in sensational form, registering 6 goals and 2 assists in his opening four Sรผper Lig appearances this season. ๐Ÿ”ฅ
