🇳🇬🕊️ REMEMBERING IFEANYI CHIEJINE, A TRUE SUPER FALCONS ICON

Nigerian football continues to honour the legacy of former Super Falcons star, Ifeanyi Chiejine, one of the pioneers of women’s football in Africa. ❤️

She also captained Nigeria at the inaugural FIFA U-19 Women’s World Championship in 2002 and enjoyed a successful club career across the USA, Finland, Russia, and Kazakhstan.

Sadly, Chiejine passed away on August 21, 2019, at the age of 36, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire generations of female footballers in Nigeria and beyond.
