Road Accident Information & Rescue Organization to Host “Don’t Drink Alcohol And Drive” Campaign in Ibadan

Ibadan, Oyo State — The Road Accident Information & Rescue Organization (RAIRO) will host its 2026 “Don’t Drink Alcohol And Drive” Awareness Campaign on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Federal Cooperative College, Eleyele, . The event begins at 10:00 AM.

With the theme “Don’t Drink Alcohol and Drive – Ensuring Road Safety for Everyone,” the campaign aims to curb alcohol-related road accidents and promote responsible driving among road users.

Highlights of the event include the launch of the “Road Safety Driver’s Manual,” a practical guide for safe driving and accident prevention, as well as the Road Safety Heroes and Achievers Award Ceremony, which will honor individuals and organizations contributing to road safety advocacy and emergency response.
