Legislative Advancement

In my first year in office, I actively participated in discussions addressing key issues impacting our state and constituency. I also co-sponsored several relevant initiatives within the period.

As a member of several committees, I played a role in discussing and shaping policies that directly affect our constituents. Notable committees include:

Budget and Appropriation

As the Chairman House Committee on Budget and Appropriation,
I and other committee members critically engage the Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) of government to develop a fiscally responsible budget aimed at addressing the needs and challenges faced by the people of Kwara State.

The Committee thoroughly reviewed and presented the report on the 2024 Budget during the plenary session held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. The budget underwent meticulous scrutiny to ensure it adequately addresses the needs of the people of Kwara State.

Additionally, we presented the revised 2023 budget to the Plenary for careful consideration and approval after a thorough evaluation.

House Committee on Energy

I actively participated in discussions with the management of IBDEC regarding power service issues.

During a public hearing, I contributed to the poor service delivery noticed earlier in 2024.

House Committee on Work and Transport

As a member of the House Committee on Works & Transport, I contributed, during the engagement of the Kwara State coordinator of RAMP, Dr. Isaac Kolo on the activities of RAMP in Kwara.
