Happy Children's day to all!

Two days ago, I had bulk orders for our lip-licking Fruity Roselle drink and Creamy, yummy Tigernut milk. So, my entire morning hours were spent in production.

I've had back-to-back supplies the days before. So, after the morning production, I convinced myself that I deserved a nap.

About an hour into my nap, my phone rang with an unfamiliar number, I picked. A few seconds into the call, I realised I was speaking with the Bobby Joachim

First I was super excited because although I only started following him recently, I find his posts very fascinating and inspiring. I've shared a few of his posts on my timeline.

Next, I was confused because I'd never had personal contact with him so how and what on earth is he calling to say?

We exchanged pleasantries and he began to ask some thought-provoking questions about my business.

I'll save you the details of our conversation. At the end of that call, I knew I needed to cling to the hem of his garment for coaching.

So I asked him about his coaching program and what it would cost me.

His response made me cry... 😭 I had to seek his permission to end the call and return it later.

He informed me that someone in this space, who prefers to remain anonymous, reached out to him and paid for me to be enrolled on his business coaching program. Oh Wow!!!💃 I am still in awe of such kindness and thoughtfulness.😭🙌🏻

So, this is me saying thank you to everyone who believes in me. Thank you to everyone who's supported me in one way or the other in this blue app.

Thank you, especially to this anonymous individual who has gone the extra mile to invest in my growth. I do not take this lightly. I'll make you proud! I am eternally grateful. May God bless you in ways you can't explain.

Yesterday, during one of my marketing outings, I met a customer who bought and enjoyed our healthy drink and wanted more but we were sold out at the time.

He requested for an office delivery of our drinks and I requested for his address so that our dispatch rider would deliver.

He gave me the address however, he suggested that I do the delivery myself and asked that I come with enough drinks. He said some of his colleagues might be interested.

I obliged and appeared at his office in about an hour with a cooler load of chilled healthy drinks. Ever ready Zee!

Guess what? This man who I only met for the first time about an hour ago, told his colleagues that I was his sister and convinced almost everyone around to buy from me. He also paid for some of his colleagues who were reluctant to give it a try and gifted the extra bottles he ordered for himself.

Dear business owner, your helpers are around...only that you can't meet them inside your house. SHOW UP! SHOW UP!! SHOW UP!!!

Yesterday, I was invited to speak about "Love Code" @ Living Faith Church Rayfield's YAF program.

I took a clue from the story of Esther. Have you ever thought about the regimen involved in becoming the King's Spec in Esther Chapter 2?

Yesterday was a remarkable day for Zee's Healthy Treat. The Orphanage Valentine Special was a huge Success. I shall update you shortly.

However, In the spirit of Valentine's, I figured out that our healthy drinks will be in high demand. I didn't want to be limited to the pre-orders alone. So, I quietly drove to a popular Shawarma spot in Jos with a cooler load of our drinks.

I placed an order for shawarma. While waiting for my order to be ready, I stepped out of the facility and marketed our drinks shamelessly to almost everyone who came to buy shawarma at the time.😂

I told them our drink was a perfect step down for shawarma and I made good sales. In fact for the first time, someone gifted me a bottle of my drink. Yes, he paid for me to have a bottle of my drink. He was thrilled!

See, I believe in shameless marketing because I have learned by experience that "SHAME NO DEY PAY BILLS".

Dear Business Owner, be reminded that SHAME is an enemy of your business growth and enlargement.

If you're ashamed of putting your products on every face or you let fear of "what if they don't buy" stop you, na you go loose. No gree for anybody!

Our weekend/pre-valentine task in the V3 WOMAN CHALLENGE is to treat ourselves to something special, gift ourselves something lovely and write ourselves a love note! Yes Dear woman, for once, do you!

Women, especially, can grow accustomed to putting others first. Although there's a time and a place for this, it shouldn't be a habit that costs you your mental or emotional well-being.

Dear woman, find the time to decompress without feeling guilty. Find the time to love yourself.

Without decompressing and recharging you can put serious strain on yourself.
Whether it’s spending the day in bed or outdoors in nature with just yourself or girlfriends, find what helps you decompress and dedicate time to this.

And yes, you too can write and envelope a special love note to you!
Be kind to yourself
The world is full of harsh words and critique — don’t add yours to the mix.

Speak kindly to yourself, and don’t call yourself mean things. Celebrate yourself. You’ve come so far, survived all sorts and grown so much. Don’t forget to celebrate yourself, and not only on your birthday!

As you prepare to shower love on others this season, remember that you too deserve to be loved and the best way to take care of others is to take care of yourself first.
