Nigerian Youth Leadership: Lets try our style for better future
Northern Youth Leadership Network - NYLN
NYLN Is an organisation that will promote its youth economic activities for sustainable development.
I've noticed that a lot of Nigerian men, especially on social media always make excuses for their financial inadequacies. Instead of them to keep quiet and focus on becoming financially well off, they will reveal their financial insecurities by demonizing and lambasting any woman who says she would rather date a guy who has money. Most times you will see them making comments like "Women are hoes" Women are gold diggers." "Women should focus on love and not on the financial state of the man"
You will even see them saying that women should try to manage with a man who is earning low and should stop aiming too high in terms of the financial capacities of the man they want because money isn't all that matters.
I have also noticed that these kind of men are usually lazy. Most of their time is spent on social media arguing, insulting women and complaining about how women love money so much. And these men are usually frustrated, broke and low achievers. It's not surprising that they are in the financial state they are in. Real men who have money don't complain like they do. They know how the world works and they work hard to be financially successful and they let their financial success speak for them and attract whatever kind of women they want. They don't spend all day on social media casting aspersions on women who prefer a certain kind of lifestyle and men who understand and can provide such lifestyle.
Seriously, if you are such a man I feel really sorry for you. No amount of whining and complaining will change your condition. Leave social media and go and hustle. If you have money you won't have time to worry about what women want.
MINDSET IS THE POWER HOUSE TO SUCCESS
Poverty does not start from the pocket. It begins from the mind...At every age, everyone has the capacity to draw wealth. Your age does not limit your future.
The mind can go as far as you can stretch it. How much mind exercise do you do everyday?
The human mind is poor by doubt but rich by faith. When you stretch your mind, it gets you to things and places no one else has ever imagined.
Where you are today is a product of your mind and where you will be tomorrow is still the product of your mind. If you see yourself in the sky tomorrow, that is where you will be. If you still see yourself around many excuses, that is where you will always be stocked at. You have to think and think big. Always remember, there are no known laws that restricts one from thinking big ALWAYS THINK BIG!.
Opportunity enrich those who accept it without doubt when they find one. Opportunity doesn't wait for any one.
TAKE UP D CHALLENGE & BE AN ENTREPRENEUR TODAY!!!!!
The future of Nigeria solely depends on Agriculture....
WHY AGRICULTURE?
In a continent where over 50% of people are living below $3 income per day and land is fertile and plenty, farming and agric-value chain production is pivotal to reducing poverty, and to building long-term economic self-reliance. We must access high quality culturally appropriate food for local food sovereignty and for importation to other nations and regions.
We do not want to empower people, God has already done that by giving us enviable soil all over the continent, we just want to show them how to explore this prosperity buried in our land. We must rethink inefficient planting, and Land management, reduce the waste through Training and Technology, reuse through value chains.
Its quite a long time since we post anything in this group. We hope to continue from now on non stop. Stay with us please.
What is your plan in this recession?

Governor Ambode visits President Buhari, commends his economic investment drive
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode on Friday paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja, where he lauded the President’s recent overseas trips aimed at attracting foreign direct investments into the country.
Governor Ambode who spoke to State House Correspondents shortly after the visit expressed high optimism that the President’s trips would in no short time begin to yield benefits in the interest of all Nigerians.
The Governor specifically commended President Buhari for his purposeful leadership to restore the nation’s place in the comity of nations, saying his recent trip to China and the profitable discussions will go a long way move Nigeria forward, including Lagos.
He said the investment pact signed with the Chinese Government will benefit the people of Lagos, especially with the coming of the Lagos-Kano Rail Project and the Lagos Metro-rail project expected to cost about $2.5billion.
It would be recalled that President Buhari recently returned from a one week visit to China where Nigeria signed series of investment pact expected to yield about $6 billion investment for Nigeria and also expected to have positively huge impact on key sectors of the Nigerian economy including power, solid minerals, agriculture, housing and rail transportation.
He said the visit was therefore to thank President Muhammadu Buhari for his laudable plans for Nigeria and especially Lagos State.

How do I fit in?
