Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly agreed to a new three-year deal with Arsenal which will
see him pocket £250,000-aweek.
The Gunners captain had been linked with a move away from the Emirates as he entered the final year of his existing deal, with Barcelona said to be ready to swoop. But Aubameyang, 31, now looks set to stay in North London as he commits his future to Mikel Arteta's project on a deal worth £70,000-a-week
more than the contract he signed with the club in 2018.
Arteta has been outspoken on how he would like the Gabon star to put pen to paper on an
extension with his side and Aubameyang sent fans into frenzy by tweeting the hourglass emoji on Sunday. Many believed the tweet meant Aubameyang was on the cusp of signing a new deal and the Daily Telegraph reports he is now "extremely close" to doing so.

But with Napoli awaiting on the future of Kalidou Koulibaly, Arsenal have stepped in.
Calciomercato claim the Gunners have found an
agreement with the player. Moreover, their £25 million offer currently trumps Napoli’s proposal with Lille happy to accept.
Gabriel, 22, has an abundance of potential and seems like a fit for the Premier League.
