π¨ 16 DAYS IN CAPTIVITY... AND OUR HEARTS ARE STILL BLEEDING ππ³π¬
Today marks 16 painful days since 42 innocent school children and their two female teachers were abducted by kidnappers.
As a footballer, I wear the colours of Nigeria with pride. I represent a nation filled with talented, hardworking, and hopeful young people. That is why it breaks my heart to know that while many children are preparing for their future, 42 others are spending their days in fear and uncertainty.
For 16 days, their parents have cried.
For 16 days, their families have lived in agony.
For 16 days, their classmates have waited for their return.
And now, we have received the devastating news that one of the female teachers has reportedly been killed.
A teacher.
A woman who dedicated her life to guiding and protecting children.
How many more days must these families suffer? How many more tears must be shed before urgent action is taken?
As Adoo Yina, a proud Nigerian and a member of the Super Falcons family, I cannot remain silent. These children are our children. Their pain is our pain. Their families deserve answers, and those still being held deserve to come home safely.
I call on fellow athletes, entertainers, community leaders, and every Nigerian with a platform to raise their voice. Let us keep this issue alive until every child is rescued and reunited with their loved ones.
Today, I am not speaking as a footballer.
I am speaking as a Nigerian whose heart is broken.
Bring our children home.
Bring them home now. πππΎπ³π¬

π MY HEART BLEEDS FOR THESE CHILDREN π
For days now, innocent school children in Oyo State have remained in the hands of kidnappers. Every morning they wake up in fear, far away from their families, their classrooms, and the safety they deserve.
As a footballer, I know the importance of dreams. Every child deserves the chance to dream, to learn, to laugh, and to grow without fear. It breaks my heart to imagine what these children and their parents are going through at this very moment.
No father should have to wonder if his child will return home. No mother should have to cry herself to sleep praying for the safety of her son or daughter. No child should have to experience the trauma of being taken away from their family and education.
Today, I am using my voice to stand with these children and their families.
I call on the authorities to intensify every effort necessary to ensure their safe and immediate return. Every day matters. Every hour matters. Every child matters.
Let us not become silent. Let us not move on as if this is normal. These children are our children. Their pain is our pain.
Bring them home. Bring them home safely. Now.
