GREATER TOMORROW FC OF LAFIA HAVE CLINCHED THE 4TH MAIDEN EDITION OF BARR. ALIYU YUSUF SHEHU (SARKIN SAMARIN LAFIA) GRASSROOT FOOTBALL COMPETITION TODAY.

Greater Tomorrow were on Thursday officially crowned champions of the sarkin samarin lafia 4th maiden edition of Barr. Aliyu Yusuf shehu (Sarkin Samarin lafia) grassroot football competition after winning 1-0 against their local rivals Ta'al FC of lafia at government science secondary school lafia football pitch.

The Greater Tomorrow who were best known in lafia metropolis as champions because of their tittle winning gave up a goal lead in the first half goal by their Defender VERMRLEN

The Lafia east team Greater Tomorrow showed class as they down played their counterpart by dominating the position since the first half of the game.

Barr. Aliyu Yusuf shehu Esq (sarkin samarin lafia) has commended the effort shown by both teams, as he said he enjoyed all the 90mins of the game and called on the second place team Ta'al to never let the Spirit down as there will be another time for them to clinch the trophy 🏆

In addition The House of Assembly member Hon. Solomon Akwashiki member Representing lafia central constituency has also recommended the effort of his friend Barr. Aliyu Yusuf shehu (sarkin samarin lafia) for uniting the youths from various wards within lafia metropolis through football and also used the medium to congratulate the entire team of Greater Tomorrow FC for a job well down, Ta'al fc were not left behind as he called on the entire team to put on more effort next time in other to clinched the trophy 🏆 next time.

The DG of sarkin samarin lafia is also not left behind as he also chip in his blessings to the entire team that won and to those who participated from the first round of the competition Mal. Dardau Saleh has congratulated the champions.

Ibrahim Aliyu (Kainuwan lafia) the organizer has also congratulate the entire teams that participated as he said, no looser in this year's edition of sarkin samarin lafia maiden football competition.

The 3rd edition of Sarkin Samarin lafia most prestigious grassroots football tournament, has come to and end where final football match is to be played today the 29th, June 2023 between the two giant teams in lafia

VANUE:- GOVERNMENT SCIENCE SECONDARY SCHOOL LAFIA.

The tournament organized Barr. Aliyu Yusuf shehu (Sarkin Samarin lafia) to foster good relationship status among youths within lafia, and managed by Ibrahim Aliyu (Kainuwan lafia)

The Director- General of sarkin samarin lafia campaign organization Mal. Dardau Saleh said the tournament is targeted at developing football talents at the community level, stimulate youth empowerment and enhance overall grassroots development thus engendering inter-communal interaction, peace and unity in the region.
