The upcoming Inter-Security Football Competition is scheduled to kick off on Monday, 6th October 2025, at Lafia City Stadium. The competition consists of four (4) groups, each containing three (3) teams. Our team falls under Group “B”, alongside the Nigerian Air Force and the Nigerian Correctional Service.

*4TH GOVERNOR AA SULE INTER-SECURITY AGENCIES UNITY CUP FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT GETS KICK-OFF DATE.*

Organizers of the annual Governor Abdullahi A. Sule Inter-Security Agencies' Unity Cup Football Tournament have announced that the 4th edition of the tournament is set to kickoff in a week's time in Lafia, the Nasarawa State Capital.

Speaking to sports journalists at the Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development today, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Sports Development, Comrade Hamza Ibrahim Moyi, flanked by the SSA to the Governor on Youth and Students' Affairs, Rt. Hon. Shuaibu Sani, and Head of Public Relations, Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Eche Amos, said Governor Abdullahi Sule has approved the staging of this year's edition of the tournament.

"I am glad to inform you that His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi Sule has graciously approved the commencement of the 4th edition of the Inter-Security Agencies' Unity Cup Football Tournament.

"This year's edition will be different from the previous ones as there will be twelve(12) military and paramilitary agencies competing for supremacy on the field of play as against the ten agencies we had in the previous editions under the Chairmanship of the National Security Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nuhu Ribadu.

"The Governor AA Sule Inter-Security Agencies' Unity Cup Football Tournament has become a platform for security agencies operating in Nasarawa State to build camaraderie, showcase their skills, and improve productivity.

"This shows the Governor's consistency in supporting this event, knowing the importance of security personnel in promoting peace, security and protection of lives and properties of the citizens.

*POSTPONEMENT OF GRAND FINALE OF 2ND EDITION OF GOVERNOR A.A. SULE INTER-SECURITY AGENCIES' UNITY CUP FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT, 2023.*

Good day, dear compatriots.

I hope this meets you in the right frame of mind even as I convey the warmest sporting greetings of the SSA to the Governor on Sports Affairs, Comr. Hamza Ibrahim Awe Moyi and entire members of the Organizing Committee of the overleaf Competition to you.

I am directed to inform participating Security Agencies, particularly finalist and 3rd Place teams that the Grand Finale games of the Tournament earlier scheduled for Sunday, 11th February, 2024, from 12noon to 3pm have been rescheduled accordingly.

The 3rd Place match between NAYES vs. Nigerian Army earlier slated for 12noon on Sunday, and final between NSCDC versus FRSC by 3pm, on Sunday, 11th February, 2024, have now been shifted to next week(with date and times to be communicated accordingly to the affected Agencies.

The changes became imperative to pave way for a convenient period for our invited guests to attend the event.
