🚨🎙️| Matheus Cunha on the toughest team he’s ever faced:
🗣️ “I’ve played in different leagues — in Germany with RB Leipzig, in Spain with Atlético Madrid, and of course in the Premier League. I’ve faced top teams everywhere.”
“But the toughest team I’ve ever played against? For me, it’s Manchester United.”
“When you play against them, it’s not just about quality — it’s the intensity, the physicality, the pressure. You don’t get a second to breathe.”
“Old Trafford is something else. The fans, the noise, the way they push the team — it makes it one of the hardest places to play.”
“That’s part of the reason I wanted to come here. When you feel that as an opponent, it stays with you. It motivates you.”
“I’ve always dreamed of playing for this club, to be on that side instead of against it.”
“The Premier League is the best league in the world — the speed, the competition, every game is a battle. And Manchester United represents that at the highest level.”
“To now be here, at the club that gave me the toughest challenge and inspired me the most… it means everything.”

🚨🗣️ Casemiro:
“My son asks: 'Dad, are you going to score a goal today?' I tell him that I'm a defensive midfielder. And one of the cool things I like to talk about is that first comes the defensive work, helping the center-backs, helping the full-backs, helping the midfielders.
“Of course, if you can score a goal, that's a plus. But, without a doubt, first the defensive work has to be well done, to give balance to the team. And that's the great merit that I like to have and always like to talk about.
“I think scoring goals up front is good, but I don't care about goals and thinking about scoring goals. I think first comes the defensive work to help the team”.

🚨🗣️ Casemiro on being the fifth-choice midfielder under Amorim at the start:
“It may have been one of my greatest achievements because, with all the humility in the world, the most normal thing would be to say: 'Hey, the coach isn't using me? No problem, I've already won a lot of titles in my career, I've already achieved many things in my life and I'm here, the coach doesn't want to count on me, let him go and I'll stay here.' But no.
“I kept working, I kept trying to show the coach that he was wrong, that he was mistaken about me. I could have, as we say in the world of football, given up, moved on, and that's it.
“But I kept working, kept trying to change the coach's opinion, and I ended up succeeding, I finished playing and having a great end to the season, playing in a Europa League final.
“Despite having had several achievements in my career, this may have been one of the greatest achievements I had: reversing the coach's opinion. I wasn't playing because of the coach's opinion. And he ended up putting me in to play because of my merit and work, entirely my own.”

🚨 WHAT IF HE WAS SOLD…?
Manchester United were ready to cash in on Kobbie Mainoo last summer 😳
Offers never came — doubts over his physicality and development held clubs back.
£40–60M… and it was leaning toward the LOWER end.
Now look at him.
Sometimes, the deals that don’t happen… matter the most. 👀
💭 Did United get lucky — or did they see what others didn’t?

🚨This is a sign of a good manager. After a bad day for Senne Lammens and Amad Diallo, even though we won the game, Michael Carrick didn’t wait for them in the dressing room.
He came straight onto the pitch after the match and started encouraging them. If he can support them like that on the pitch, imagine what he does in the dressing room.
Without a doubt, we should appreciate him. In the Premier League, managers like Pep Guardiola or Mikel Arteta are often seen correcting players on the pitch after mistakes. We’ve seen Pep do it many times.
But Michael Carrick chose to encourage instead, showing that mistakes are part of the game and unavoidable. Thank you, Michael Carrick.
