Your child is learning from you—even when you're not teaching.
Every day, your child is watching.
They notice how you respond when you're angry. How you speak when you're frustrated. How you treat people who cannot do anything for you. And whether you can admit when you're wrong.
We may not remember every lesson we teach our children, but they experience our everyday behaviour.
This is why intentional parenting goes beyond what we tell our children. It includes what we model before them.
Today, ask yourself:
If my child learnt how to handle life by watching me, what would they be learning?
Don't let the question condemn you. Let it invite you to grow.
You don't have to get everything right. You have to be willing to reflect, learn, and do better.
This is part of the heart behind my book, PARENTING NOW: Harnessing the Power of the Now in Your Parenting.
📖 The digital edition is available on Selar, and hard-copy pre-orders are open.
