Five years. 🤍

Five years of friendship, partnership, growth, laughter, learning, and choosing each other through all the seasons life has brought.

Marriage has taught me that love is not only found in the grand moments, sometimes it is in the quiet conversations, the little sacrifices, the laughter after a long day, the prayers, the patience, and the decision to keep building together.

I am grateful for the man I get to do life with, for the home we are building and for the grace that has carried us this far.

Five years down and there is still so much more life to live, love to give, and plenty memories to make.

Happy 5th wedding anniversary to us. ❤️

Here’s to many more years of growing together, choosing each other, and becoming better together.

🥂 To us.

But this season is also an opportunity to prepare for the life waiting for you beyond secondary school.

Digital awareness.
Learning something new.
Becoming more responsible and independent.

Because preparing for university isn’t only about getting the right school, books and clothes.
Prepare for the person you are becoming. 🤍

Swipe through this post and see how you can make this period count.

And if you’re a parent with a daughter who just finished WAEC,, save this post because you’ll want to come back to it.

Sometimes, the best way to know your daughter isn’t by asking, “How was your day?”

It’s by asking the questions that make her pause, think, and feel safe enough to really talk.

Try these questions during dinner, in the car, before bedtime, or even during a random girls’ day. You might be surprised by what she shares with you.

Because raising a daughter isn’t just about knowing what she’s doing.

It’s about knowing what she’s thinking, what she’s feeling, what she fears, what she hopes for, and who she’s becoming.

Save this post and come back to it when you need a meaningful conversation starter. 💗

Which question would you ask your daughter first? 👇🏽

Struggles your girl might be having this back to school.

She may not say any of these but it often shows in subtle ways.
And here's the catch.... She doesn't necessarily need you to fix it all, Just walk beside her through it.

Before you change your daughter’s school, read this. 🚨
A new school may look better on the outside....better facilities, bigger promises, nicer uniforms. But is it actually better for your daughter?

Before you make that decision, there are questions you NEED to ask about:
How they support students who struggle academically
How they keep students safe
How they handle bullying and emotional struggles
How teachers communicate with parents
How they support your daughter beyond academics?
Because choosing a school isn't just about “Which school is better?”

It’s about “Which school is better for MY child?”

Save this before your next school visit. 📌
And send it to a parent who is currently considering a school change. 👇🏽

What’s the ONE question you think every parent should ask before enrolling their daughter?

Don’t just prepare your daughter for the world, build the community that prepares her to thrive in it.

The world will expose your daughter to different voices, values, pressures, and influences. But when she has a strong community around her, she doesn’t have to navigate them alone.

Give her mentors who guide her, peers who encourage her, and an environment where she can build confidence, discover her identity, and develop the courage to make wise choices.

Preparation is not only about teaching her how to face the world. It’s also about giving her the right people to grow with along the way.

Because the right community can help a girl grow with confidence, lead with purpose, and stand firm in who she is.

What Your Daughter May Not Tell You About Her Friendships.

Sometimes, your daughter may come home smiling and say, “Everything is fine,” even when something is bothering her about her friendships.

She may not tell you that she feels left out.
She may be afraid that her friends will reject her if she says no.
She may be changing herself just to fit in.
She may be dealing with pressure, comparison, or hurtful words but doesn't know how to explain it.

And sometimes, she stays silent because she is afraid you will judge her friends, or judge her choices.

That is why your daughter needs more than rules. She needs a safe relationship with you.

Create conversations where she can talk without immediately being criticized or punished.

Ask questions. Listen carefully. Help her recognize healthy friendships, set boundaries, and make choices that align with her values.

Your daughter may not tell you everything about her friendships, but she should always know that she can come to you.

Talk to her. Listen to her. Guide her. Don't wait until there is a crisis.

“A girl surrounded by positive influence is better equipped to make positive choices.”

The people around a girl can shape how she thinks, what she values, and the decisions she makes.

When she has mentors who guide her, friends who encourage her, and a community that reinforces healthy values, she learns that she doesn’t have to follow every trend or give in to pressure just to belong.

The right environment doesn’t make every decision for her, it gives her the confidence and wisdom to make better decisions for herself.

Surround her with people who inspire her to grow, lead, and become the best version of herself.

The Right Environment Matters.

The environment your daughter grows in can either strengthen her identity or pressure her to compromise it.

Peer pressure is real, but so is positive peer influence.

When girls are surrounded by a value-driven community, they can build confidence, take initiative, and become comfortable being themselves without changing who they are just to belong.

Give your daughter a tribe where she is supported, challenged, celebrated, and encouraged to grow.

Send us a DM to register her for the Global Giant Girls Tribe today!

Your daughter doesn’t care about how much you know.

She only cares about whether your knowledge can actually solve the problems she is facing right now.

Your parenting isn’t about your ego, your rules, or showing her how smart you are. It’s about meeting her at her point of need.

When a 13-year-old girl is struggling with low self-esteem, digital addiction, or heavy peer pressure, giving her a 30-minute lecture on "back in my day" will not save her.

She doesn't need a history lesson, she needs a working solution.

She is constantly wondering "can my parents help me deal with this, or do I need to go ask Google and social media groups?"

If you want to win her heart, stop flexing your parental authority and start guiding her as she deals with those internal battles.

Listen more than you judge. Drop the heavy lectures.

When she sees that your wisdom actually works in her everyday world, she won't just respect your authority, she will run to you for guidance every single time.

What is the biggest struggle your daughter is dealing with this holiday?
Let’s talk in the comments!
